There may be possiblejob and training opportunites available through the Housing Authority Neighborhood Stabilization Program building project.  Stop by Barret Center and pick up a  job application or contact 270-827-1294 ext 1133 for more information.

Apply in person at the Barret Center administrative offices located at 111 S. Adams St. between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Preston Foundation.  The program was titled “Growing Up Healthy in Henderson”.  It discussed children’s health issues, healthy eating, and children’s programming.  Of interest to the Housing Authority, it featured the Housing Authority CAT Center Program and the CATCH program. We are very proud of the Housing Authority’s after school program, the participants and the leaders. 

The program was originally shown on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 but will be rebroadcast on Friday, February 10 at 10:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 12 at 4:30 p.m.  Be sure to watch.  It is very informative!

Attached is an eligibility checklist, requirement checklist, verification pay, certification, and scholarship application that is due  by March 31, 2012.  Please bring all completed information to the Housing Authority for submission of the application to the Kentucky Housing Association.

We would  like to thank all of those who donated prizes and provided entertainment and informational booths. A special thanks goes to the performers who provided entertainment.
