Our Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) and Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) scores are in. The Housing Authority of Henderson has been deemed a high performer with scores of 99 for Public Housing and 100 for Section Eight. This was made possible because of an outstanding Board of Commissioners and Housing Authority staff that believes in the Mission Statement of the Housing Authority to promote affordable quality housing, economic opportunity, and a positive living environment. In addition, our high performer status is due in part to the willingness of Housing Authority residents who participated in the Resident Satisfaction Survey that is an integral part of our PHAS score and to your involvement in making the developments a better place to live and raise your families. As a high performing Housing Authority, this qualifies us to receive additional funding to modernize our dwelling units and to increase resident opportunities. Great job, staff and residents!
